You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction) to use Khonglei Matam. By using the App, you warrant that you meet these requirements.
The clan detection, 7-Salai lineage matching, and community datasets in Khonglei Matam are provided strictly for educational, cultural preservation, and informational purposes. Information has been compiled from historical oral traditions, published genealogical literature, and elder consultations.
Lineage match results do not constitute legal, civil, or sacramental matrimonial rulings. Lineage customs and Yek-Salai exogamy practices may feature clan sub-branch variations across different villages and families. Users are encouraged to consult family elders (Ahal - laman) or authorized customary bodies for formal decisions.
All numerological calculations—including Life Path, Mulank, Lo Shu 3x3 grids, Kua directions, and compatibility ratings—are derived from traditional esoteric formulas and are provided strictly for personal reflection and entertainment.
Calculations and interpretations must not be treated as professional medical, financial, psychological, or legal counsel. Khonglei Matam accepts no liability for choices made based on numerological readings.

All in-app purchases are processed securely through Google Play Store Billing or Apple App Store. Subscription management, cancellations, and renewals are handled directly through your Google Play or Apple ID account settings.
All payment transactions, cancellations, and refund claims are governed strictly by the refund policies of Apple Media Services or Google Play Store.
You retain full ownership of the family trees, notes, and task reminders you create inside the App. All data is stored securely on your local device or backed up to your authenticated account.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have permission from living family members before entering their full names, relationships, or dates of birth into your family tree.
When you submit missing surnames, clan corrections, or feedback via the App, you grant Khonglei Matam a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to review, verify, standardize, and include the data in our open heritage database for community enrichment.
The application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Under no circumstances shall the developers be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.
